Woman shot, killed in Tulsa neighborhood

The Tulsa Police department is investigating a homicide after finding a woman shot in the head on Monday.

Tulsa police officers responded to a call about a shooting near West 48th Street and S 35th West Ave around 5:30 p.m. Officers arrived to find 30-year-old Kori Shaver in a car with a gunshot wound to the back of her head.

Paramedics took Shaver to the hospital where she later died.

Julian Smith is now charged with 1st Degree Murder and Kortney Smith is now charged with Accessory to Murder in this case.
