A Tulsa man is in custody after shooting two people on Friday, including his ex-girlfriend.
The suspected shooter, Andrew Henry, called 911 around 11:30 a.m. from a home near Virgin and MLK Jr. Blvd. Tulsa police officers arrived and found Henry with a gun on his hip and took him into custody after admitting he's shot two people.
Officers found 23-year-old Nicole Jackson dead inside the home and teen with a gunshot wound to the leg. He's expected to recover.
Through the investigation, detectives learned that Henry had been living with Jackson, his ex-girlfriend, but he'd decided to move out on Friday. Henry said Jackson took his keys to stop him from leaving and at some point he pulled out a gun and started shooting.
Henry said he acted in self-defense, but detectives did not find enough evidence proving that and arrested him.
He's facing charges for First-Degree Murder and Shooting With Intent to Kill.
