Tulsa police arrested a man Tuesday after he held a woman and her three children at gunpoint inside a motel room.
On 1/7/2025 around 6:50 a.m., Officers responded to an Assault with a Deadly Weapon call at the Eagle Suites near 47th and Yale.
Through the investigation, Officers learned the suspect, Quintraious Marshall, got into an argument with his girlfriend that turned physical. At one point, Marshall's girlfriend locked him out the room, but he forced his way back inside.
The victims reported that inside the room, Marshall threatened to take the life of his girlfriend and her three children, ages 10, 3, and 2-months old, who were also inside the room at the time. Marshall was armed with a pistol and pointed it at several of the victims.
When Officers arrived, Marshall refused to come out of the room. Officers set up a containment area. Crisis negotiators were able to talk with Marshall, and eventually he came out of the room and was taken into custody. Officers then quickly entered the room and rescued the children, who were found unharmed.
Quintraious Marshall was arrested for:
Pointing a Deadly Weapon with Intent (2 counts)
Kidnapping
Possession of a Firearm AFCF (After Former Conviction of a Felony)
