Police took a teen into custody Monday after school officials were made aware of a threat made against Booker T. Washington High School.
Tulsa police officers responded to the high school near Apache and Peoria around 10 a.m. for a call about the threats made. Officers learned a teenage girl posted a picture on social media with a gun saying she was going to take it to the school.
School officials were made aware of the threat and contacted both TPD and Tulsa Public Schools Campus Police.
Detectives determined the teen was in Bixby and Bixby police took her into custody.
