Thursday afternoon, the Tornado Alley Child Exploitation and Trafficking Task Force (TACETT) announced the results of Operation Stolen Innocence that resulted in the arrest of child sex predators.
Through Operation Stolen Innocence, eight men were arrested over the course of three days. Five of the suspects are charged in state court, three are charged in federal court.
The suspects are facing various charges, including:
Soliciting Sexual Conduct or Communication with a Minor by use of Technology
Lewd or Indecent Proposals or Acts to Children under 16
Soliciting a Minor for Indecent Exposure
Attempted Coercion and Enticement
Possession of Child Pornography
The suspects are identified as the following:
Wesley Rohrer of Sapulpa
George Mathu of Tulsa
Samuel Gile of Oklahoma City
Willie Porter of Tulsa
Jeffry Clain of Tulsa
Danny Newton of Bartlesville
Scott Berkshire of Tulsa
As this is still an ongoing investigation, 1 of the suspect's indictments is still sealed while we continue to compile the evidence. We will post more information about the 8th suspect, when it becomes available.
Chief Larsen announced the results of the Operation, along with Homeland Security Investigations, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, Tulsa County Sheriff's Office (TCSO), Rogers County Sheriff's Office, U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Oklahoma, Tulsa County District Attorney's Office, and other partners of TACETT.
