The Tulsa Police Homicide Unit is investigating after a man was found dead inside his apartment on Sunday.
Tulsa police officers responded to a call at the Lewiston Apartments near 52nd and S. Lewis around 1:00 p.m. after a man was found dead in one of the units.
Through the investigation, Homicide Detectives learned the victim, 61-year-old Keith Stayer, was inside the apartment with several other people. At some point overnight, Stayer ended up with a puncture wound to his back, which likely led to his death.
Detectives interviewed the people who were with the victim at the time of the incident.
At this time no charges have been filed as the investigation continues.
A witness, Darwin Flickinger, was arrested for a hold out of LeFlore County.
