The mission of the Public Safety Communications Division (PSC) is to provide communications support to the Tulsa Police Department, Tulsa Fire Department, regional fire departments and Emergency Medical Services agencies by delivering accurate, timely, and safe dispatching services and response to calls for service from citizens served by these agencies. Support is provided by trained telecommunicators using an enhanced 911 telephone system, modernized computer technology, and an 800 MHz public safety radio system.
