Before you begin your search, read our definitions below:

• Cold Case: a criminal investigation that has not been solved after a considerable time but remains "on the books"; may be reopened when new evidence appears.

• Missing Person: a person who has disappeared but is not known to be dead, and whose body has not been found.

• Unsolved Crime: a crime that has not been solved or explained.
