On September 17, 2006, at 2:30 a.m. the victim was found lying the street by a witness who called 911. The victim was taken to the hospital for her injuries. The victim told police that about 2:30 a.m. she was attacked while sitting in her vehicle at 2100 S. 101st E. Ave. She said the suspect opened her driver's door and attacked her. The victim later died of the injuries sustained during the attack.
