On May 23, 1999 at about 1:20 a.m. the victim walked off the front porch of his apartment located at 1538 W. 59th Street, and was shot several times. The suspect(s) were in a maroon Ford Mustang, which left northbound from the scene. The victim died from multiple gunshot wounds.
