On August 13, 1989 at 9:33 a.m. the victim was found dead by his son in his residence located at 2119 N. Hartford #A. There were signs of forced entry into the residence. Robbery appeared to the the motive. Several items were removed from the residence. The victim died as a result of blunt trauma.
